Below a selection of my favorite podcasts. I linked most of them to Apple Podcasts but I am sure you can find them on Soundcloud, Stitcher, etc. as well.

Naval
I like the short form snippets of wisdom (3–5min per episode) from his renowned tweet storm. Naval Ravikant (founder of AngelList) is a true intellectual, something that is not a given among the big players of monthematic Silicon Valley.

How I built this
Have been a fan of Guy Raz’s show for a while. I like the selection of founders which don’t just include techies but folks such as the founders of Burton or the Five Guys burger chain as well.

Broken Record & Revisionist History
I could listen to that soothing voice of Malcom Gladwell all day long.

Broken Record
Musicians and founders share similar traits. Not just because both leave the safe harbor of employment to seek self-actualisation.

Revisionist History
Wearing my future lens at TOA most days, it is nice to look back once in a while.

Samsung NEXT / TOA Podcast
Ok, just a tiny bit biased here! ;-) Check out some of our #TOA19 speakers, recorded in the podcast studio we built together with Samsung NEXT on site.

This Episode from Recode on Secrets of VC
Building physical networks (#TOA) takes time and does not scale easily. Fascinating to hear how one of the most respected VCs Andreessen Horowitz thinks about network effects in the real world and how much value they attribute to it.

Superinvestors and the Art of Worldly Wisdom
“Super” insightful podcast about the world of finance which is so multi-facetted (history, sociology, psychology, macro,- micro,- behavioral- economics…) that it becomes increasingly intriguing to me.

Macro Voices
I mean the website alone is legendary. Never change a winning… ;-) For the big picture view I like diving into macroeconomics from time to time and this podcast gives me the fix.

Pivot
Somewhat of a guilty pleasure as this podcast has a lot of gossip and fluff but Scott Galloway always leaves you with a few interesting and novel thoughts. Just wish they could edit it down to those valuable bits.

Honorable Mentions
The Knowledge Project
I used to listen to this one a lot in the early years but production value has not kept up with the new podcasts and in the end clear audio becomes a must. But there is a lot of gold in the stack.

Crimetown
The Gimlet Media podcasts are leading the way when it comes to story telling. I just dont have the patience to stick with them.

a16z
Oldie and Goodie. Intriguing themes and guests if you work in tech. Just not as captivating when it comes to the questions and editing compared to some of the above.

Let me know what your favorite podcasts are!
